## Administrative Systems Assistance Program (ASAP)

The Administrative Systems Assistance Program (ASAP) is designed to support the training, administrative, and transactional needs of departments and centers across FAS. ASAP trainings and services are available at no cost to departments and centers across FAS.

### Training

Our specialists provide a [regular cycle of trainings](https://adminops.fas.harvard.edu/calendar/upcoming) on FAS and Harvard web-based applications, policies and procedures. In some cases, we can also facilitate one-on-one or group trainings for department administrators in need of specific policy and process reviews.

Please [subscribe to our training listserv](https://web.lists.fas.harvard.edu/mailman/lists/adminops_asaptraining.lists.fas.harvard.edu/) for weekly training updates.

### Support

In addition to our regular trainings, the ASAP team provides on-demand assistance via e-mail, answering day-to-day administrative and policy questions, and providing ad-hoc analysis of issues as needed. No question is too small, or too large! If you are in need of assistance, simply email your question with as much detail as possible to <fasasap@fas.harvard.edu>.

For training and support related to sponsored funds, please refer to [FAS Office of Research Administration](https://research.fas.harvard.edu)[.](https://research.fas.harvard.edu/training)

### Coverage

We provide administrative and transactional assistance when staff members are on leave, experiencing a temporary vacancy or during peak work periods such as fiscal year end. Our staff can assist with processing and/or approving all types of system-based transactions as well as handle transactional needs unique to an office. If your department is facing an upcoming leave or vacancy for which coverage is required, please email <fasasap@fas.harvard.edu> to set up a consultation and determine the best coverage plan. For the best results, please let us know your department name, the length of time you will require coverage, what type of coverage will be needed, and which systems will be involved.
